About MeHi there! Thank you for visiting my website!
My name is Lindsay Douglass and I'm a senior at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. I major in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Design and Technology and minor in Leadership Studies. I'm a Stage Manager within the Department of Theatre and Dance. I was named a W.H. Plemmons Leadership Scholar in 2020. I'm a member of the Lambda Zeta chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the National Theatre Honor Society, and previously served as Public Relations Chair. Additionally, I've served on the the Department's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and worked on backstage crew at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts and as a stagehand in the Valborg Theatre Scenic Shop. I was born near Arlington, Virginia, raised in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and now live in Boone. I am passionate about raising awareness for invisible illnesses and autoimmune diseases, and am an advocate for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation and Victory Junction, and non-profit organization. I love living in the beautiful mountains of Western NC and enjoy visiting the beach. I always have an iced coffee sitting on my desk, love spending time with my friends and family, and adore my cat. |
